08-09 Preview

The 2008-2009 Bethpage wrestling season looks like somewhat of a rebuilding yearlosing a strong core of seniors from the 2007-2008 season, but Golden Eagle wrestling fans could be pleasantly surprised. German Meza, two time county place-winner returns for his senior season projected to wrestle at 145 or 152. Also, senior Christian Toscano should log a strong season at 119 or 125. With Nick Romanelli back at 160/171, heavyweights Dom Volpe and Ivan Dunitz, Dom Aspesi at 130, Dennis Gonzales at 130, Carlos Figueroa at 125 and Kevin Hayes at 135…this team could be be better than many in Nassau think. Looking forward to a solid season with wrestlers improving as the year progresses.
